Competition: Scott Grows an Avocado Tree Flag Design Competition

Welcome, Avocado Enthusiasts! I am about to begin a new avocado growing series on Scott Grows an Avocado Tree, but before I do that, I need a way to identify each seed and tell them apart.

I am launching a flag design competition. I explain in this video.

How to enter:
Entries must be submitted via the form on this website. Entries submitted via social media or other forms will not be considered.

Who may enter:
This competition is open to everyone. You may submit more than one flag design.

Design Limitation:
Flags must not contain any profanities or content which is unsavoury in nature. Submissions which do not conform to this will be rejected case-by-case, entrants whose submissions are rejected will not be informed.
Flags must not contain any copyrighted material. All content on the flag must be your own intellectual property or be available under CC0 license.

Intellectual Property:
By submitting a design, participants are acknowledging that it is their own and they have not violated intellectual property. By submitting a design, participants agree to allow it to be used freely by Scott Grows an Avocado Tree in digital and physical form. Participants will not receive remuneration for their designs. By agreeing to these terms, participants cannot retract permission for their design to be used by Scott Grows an Avocado Tree.

Method of draw:
The competition will conclude on September 30th, 2021, at 11:49pm AEST. Judging will be completed by Scott in the week following the final submission date. Winners will be announced during the month of October, 2021, in a video published to Scott Grows an Avocado Tree on YouTube. 6 winners will be announced.

Prizes:
There are no prizes for this competition other than having designs feature as an identifier for an avocado plant.

Collection of data:
Participants must submit their name (they may choose a pseudonym, if they choose) to identify their entry. Designs must be named. Participants email addresses are collected and stored securely as a condition of using Google Forms. Stored email addresses will not be used for any other reasons, unless permission is given by entrant.
